Casual venue. Difficult to park. Very antique setting and not suitable for large parties.
Went to a wedding here, awesome staff... Bar placement was a little questionable though.
Kentlands Mansion was a wonderful venue for our son’s Bar Mitzvah. The Mansion and the grounds are beautiful – our guests enjoyed both the outdoor and indoor space, especially the front lawn and seating area upstairs. We had about 65 guests, which was the perfect size for a very comfortable reception, with tables spread across the Yellow Room, Music Room, and porch. Antonia is fantastic and was amazing to work with throughout the whole process. She provided incredibly helpful suggestions about our event timeline and how to best utilize the Mansion’s space to accommodate the many different activities we had planned. Listen to Antonia! She is great and will work with you to make your event a success! We had a wonderful experience working with the entire Kentlands Mansion team and highly recommend the Mansion for a beautiful, memorable event!
Kentlands Mansion was the perfect location for my wedding - great staff, plenty of parking, a beautiful exterior for photos, and a patio which was an important place for guests to take a break from the music and dancing. Antonia was also so helpful throughout the entire planning process. She was so friendly, kind, and really patient putting up with our constant changes - guests counts and table layouts. Our 60 guests couldn't fit in one room, so we had to split them into the Yellow Room and Music Room, the latter of which doubled as our dance floor. The Kentlands staff gladly ensured we could prepare the Music Room from dinner to dancing during the reception. Overall, my husband and I were so happy with how everything went, and we would recommend Kentlands Mansion to anyone else in a heartbeat!
Our company rented the conference room with breakfast and all day coffee/tea option. We had the mansion all to ourselves. The price is quite a bargain compared to what you would have paid for a hotel conference room. Ample parking spaces. The place was quiet, clean and bright to have an all day conference. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant. Highly recommended!
I have my piano recitals there. The atmosphere is amazing. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
Lovely lake with trail around, large grassy field, in a beautiful neighborhood. The mansion was gorgeous!
Just held my wedding at the Kentlands Mansion a week ago and it was the perfect venue for our celebration. We had about 65 people and the ceremony was in the outdoor side garden which is a beautiful space for a wedding this size. From the first visit to the day of the event, the staff was extremely accommodating and helpful. They provided helpful hints, example layouts and anything else we needed. The bridal suite was perfect for my bride squad to get ready and relax before the ceremony. The art displayed on the walls changes periodically and makes for a unique and elegant decor. All we had to do was bring some flowers and greenery and the place spoke for itself. I would highly recommend the Kentlands for any special event but especially intimate weddings. We will have so many wonderful pictures and memories!
This is a great place steeped in history of the early United States. Also, the city of Gaithersburg, MD does a great job of conducting various social events to bring the community together. I have throughly enjoyed living in this city a lot! Recently, we celebrated Oktoberfest in the community...
