we walked from kemerburgaz kent ormani , it is not recommended to walk because it is very far. thankfully we got a lift and the kind guard gave us grapes and watermelon. and his kind dog guided us home. a pleasant trip😇

Beautiful , İconic place, for some it is the Glenfinnan Viaduct of Istanbul...1563/64 Sinan the Architect built aqueduct-bridge..According to some, there might have been a Roman/Byzantine Aquaduct prior to it.. Highly recommended especially as part of Sunday walk...

The highlight and last point in the "Kemerburgaz City Forest" which is actually a landscaped picnic and recreation area built in the woods. It was not crowded at all when I visited, so enjoyed the site. Apart from some litter and some graffiti, very nice site.

Maglova Aquaduct
This arch was built over the Alibey stream valley in Istanbul during 1554-1562 by Mimar Sinan. It was badly damaged in 1563 due to floods, and was restored in 1564. It is 36 m high and 258 m long. The arch consists of 8 large arches on the lower, and 8 smaller arches on the upper floor.

after a hard and long road, meet with the great scene. you can climb into aqueduct, so see the scene better from there. people who's trekking, knows better; touching to the history feels wonderful. and you can touch to history in here 😊. awesome place, you must see it if you're in Istanbul
