We've camped at Baker a few times. It's a nice campground. Most sites are what I'd call "open field' with mature trees around. They are not very secluded.
We stayed in F loop and It was really nice and shady. The bathrooms in F are single stall and there's four. They're what you'd expect at a municipal campground. Heads up, we packed in water, the water is a little stinky.
Beware that generators are allowed (other than c loop). We had neighbors that ran theirs all the time, Thankfully, there were open sites and we were able to move to a quieter area.
We biked the Katrina lake loop and swam at the lake. The playground is really nice too. Overall, very nice park.

This place has everything. A nice lake, convenient boat launch area, clean beaches, wonderful kids play area, walking trail, grill area, clean bathrooms. Absolutely amazing park
I really like this beach! It is clean and well maintained. The picnic area is fantastic, with permanent grills for people to use. It is very family friendly and also has a camping area with another beach ⛱! I have been coming here for more than 30 years. It has a huge playground and nice walking path for you and your doggie. What are you waiting for?
Really enjoyed the park, swimming area, play area and campground. For casual car camping (non electric in loop C) it's a fun and social vibe with lots of families. Everything is pretty well maintained and the signs make it easy to get around. Appreciated easy access to amenities. I'd definitely return for another weekend.
