5min walk from Train station. You walk thru a parking garage then down stairs or Lift. Open warehouse with tons of vendors ready to bargain with you.
Lots of different vendors from clothing, suitcases, tools, bags, wallets, fish, seafood, animals, electronics.
Indoor and outdoor even level walking and stroller friendly. Went in August so cooler weather. Some food vendors available. Did not need to use toilets so not sure.
Appropriate signage everywhere to find the markets.

Fresh produce and seafood . Very reasonable (actually cheap) when you buy in bulk.
I discovered this market by accident. I stopped by, saw it, and fell in love ❤️.
Parking costs $2. The place is crowded and extremely loud – if you can, bring earplugs because the noise is overwhelming, but it adds charm to the place.
Payments are cash only. However, if you forget to bring cash, don’t worry, there’s an ATM available.
Oh, I love this place and I will definitely come back, but next time, I’ll be prepared. I’ll bring my own special large shopping cart from home.
They do have carts, but you need to pay for them and leave a deposit.
But still, I FELL IN LOVE.

Sydney Market is one of my favourite places in Sydney.
What’s good about it?
There’s a lively atmosphere that reminds me of the markets in Asia
Prices are affordable especially if you buy in bulk
They offer a wide variety of unique and fresh produce such as seafood, duck, fruit, cheese, cured meats and vegetables
What to be aware of?
The market can be a bit unorganized, and parking can be a challenge.
What I recommend?
Buy seasonal produce
Hire a trolley for $4
Arrive early, as the market opens at 6 am, to beat the crowds and ensure a smoother shopping experience.
Overall, a must-visit for foodies and tourist!

After 12pm on Sundays, they start selling at less than half price, but have to eat them within a day or two.
Since there is no place to park, you have to park very hard and find yourself buying boxes even if you don't want to.
It's too noisy, hectic, and crowded.
If you are running a business or have a large family, it may be better to use a local supermarket.
It is better not to take children, and you can buy a box of seasonal fruits.

Sydney Market is a vibrant and bustling place that truly captures the essence of the city. The variety of fresh produce, gourmet foods, and unique specialty items is impressive. I loved exploring the stalls filled with colorful fruits, vegetables, and artisanal products. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff at the stalls are friendly and always willing to help. It’s a great spot for a weekend outing, whether you’re looking to stock up on groceries or just enjoy the sights and sounds. Don’t miss the food vendors offering delicious snacks while you shop! Highly recommend visiting for anyone in the area!
