This is the oldest branch of Hatari. A multi-cuisine restaurant, famous for their Asian cuisine. Their chinese items are top notch. Quantity and quality, both are great. The price is a little bit on the higher side, but the food is worth the money. We tried Chicken Sweet Corn Soup, Golden fried Prawns, Drums of Heaven, Fried Rice, Mongolian Chicken, Kung pao chicken. All the items were too good. The ambience is warm and cozy. The service was too good. One should definitely visit them with their family.

This place truly doesn’t need any introduction. One of the best restaurants that serves chinese cuisine in Kolkata. I have been a customer since 2007 and I have never been disappointed with the food or service even for once. Not only the taste of the food, but also the portion they serve is way more than the other restaurants. The Indian food they serve is also equally good.
If you’re in Kolkata, this place is a must visit!

Few months back I went Hatari's Rashbihari Avenue Outlet and my experience was not so good. Due to unavailability of most of the preferred items and also for not so good hospitality we had to leave that place hungry.

We ordered Chicken Malai Kebab & Drums of Heaven from Appetizers. Chicken malai Tikka was Creamy and excessive sweet in taste. So this is definitely not worth it. It tasted awful as it felt like kheer malai outer coating with Chicken. Whatever it is without being much judgemental we ordered our next starter item i.e Drums of Heaven and that was pathetic. My goodness! One of the worst Drums of Heaven I ever had. It was served with Salad & was garnished with Coriander leaves. Why? I never saw any Chinese Appetizers being served like that. Now coming to taste factor it was so spicy that we had to drink lot of water. Moreover, outer coating was very thick and Chicken portion was very less. They made it look so bigger in size with bread crumbs that chicken bone got hidden🤣🤣 please check the attached videos and pictures for reference.

Drums of Heaven was so spicy that it was unbearable for us to complete so we thought of taking Butter Naan but any kind of bread was unable so we thought it's better not to waste more money here and we left. Also, DOH was undercooked as those Chicken bones includes blood. 🙌🙏
But recently I visited Naktala outlet where my experience was really amazing. I have also shared that in Google you can check and out and find the difference.

I tried their chinese, it was great.
The prices were on the heavier side, but the portion size was good.
I ordered -
1. Pan Fried Fish (Basa)
2. Drums of heaven
3. Hatari special friend rice with pork
4. Chicken in red wine
The food was splendid, wish to visit again. ❤️

I highly recommend this place for dine out. I have visited multiple times. Hatari is a well known family restaurant and quite popular among people for their quality, quantity and service. It's worth to wait for an hour on Sunday afternoon. Their rice noodles, dry chili pork are my absolute favorite. But due to the unavailability of dry pork we tried panfried chili fish in starter and that was also good. With mixed rice noodles we tried chili lamb as side dish this time.

I had a wonderful experience at Hatari RashBehari Avenue. On a weekend evening it's really crowded so I would recommend have some additional time if you're late. We had to wait in queue until the other guests completed dining. The Chinese cuisine is undoubtedly one of the best I would definitely recommend. The staff and service was wonderful too.

Good food and food quantity for the price.just the taste have somehow downgraded a little. Everything had a hint of sweetness. But I think that can be better if we suggest next time! Wait time was less. We were 5 people and they got us a table in 2-3 minutes. The tables are a little close which resulted in people bumping with each other. I loved the golden fried prawn the most! It's must try!
