Luis was our server and he was phenomenal! The food was amazing, we had the cachopo, and it was out of this world! But what made the experience was Luis... he was so sweet and helpful.

We had such an amazing experience, the food was excellent, and the service was stellar! One particular server, Adonay, made the whole experience perfect for us. Highly recommend.

First meal in Madrid and first time in Plaza Mayor - and it did not disappoint! Paella was excellent and it was the first time we’ve had Cachopo. Just a tip - it is not just for 2 people, it’s huge!

Arrived on Madrid early morning left the luggage in the hotel and then walked down to plaza de mayor. Breakfast at arrabals. Cappuccino was great. Ham and cheese was good. Very thin slice of ham though. Orange juice seemed to be freshly squeezed. Croissant was ok was toasted on a flat stove.

Great location and decent prices. The food is ok, but it's such a busy touristy place, it would be preposterous to expect fine dining and good service. The servers are too busy running around and the place doesn't need to be great to survive. To be fair, it was pretty good. We had some croquettes, peppers, artichokes and a glass of wine. It was a wonderful way to enjoy Plaza Mayor and get some rest before continuing on our Madrid excursion.

Really nice restaurant with view to Plaza Mayor, of course people watching too. Our waitress Laura was extremely helpful in recommending all the dishes, without her I don’t think we would try food we never had. Highly recommend this place!

Tried their traditional cachopo and it was amazing! It was huge for just two people so we had some leftovers but definitely worth trying this dish. We sat by patio and it has a great view of the square with a nice ambiance. Wait time was reasonable and we spent time people watching while food was being anerved. We came here around 7:30 so we were seated right away but it got packed around 9:00 so good idea to have an early dinner. Also, 5 stars for Manuel who was very attentive. Thanks Manuel!

Nice option for tapas, drinks and people watch at Plaza Mayor. Had dinner with colleagues on a Monday evening. Easy to get a table. Service was relatively quick and pleasant. Tried different tapas and beers. Overall experience was good and food pretty tasty. I would come back.
