Very impressive theater 🎭, but we studied kartuli language about 4 montht and understanding only 5%. But! very impressive performance, which is understandable even without knowledge of the language (but you need to know the language).

My husband and I went to a play by Russian author, translated to Georgian. Since we don't speak the local language, we could judge the theater only by decorations, overall upkeep and the comfort. This theatre is located in the center of Old city, so it's very convenient to get there. The decorations and actor's play were adequate, in our opinion, if it means anything with our lack of understanding. The sits were not very comfortable, no leg room.
Overall, I would still recommend going to this theatre, to appreciate the cultural heritage of Georgian archritecture and experience a beautiful atmosphere.
