Took historic funicular up and the extensive views were well worth the 3EUR price. I had hoped to walk back down but the two gates to the road below the funicular were all locked. Could have walked down the road to the south but it would have been a longer way back to my rental bike. Could buy the return for only 1.80EUR.
Incredible views across all of San Sebastian from here. Glad I got to come here on a clear, sunny day.

An old school 'theme park' with rides that are fine for the youngest kids. Entrance is free, you have to pay for the rides. Crowded, hot and not the best food. Take the funicular and just go there for the view.
It is not worth hiking there from the town, because you have to pay 2,5 EUR/person due to passing the toll road. Even if you are walking on the pavement.
The view from the terrace is beautiful without doubt, but we felt it is a tourist trap.

This is the best view of San Sebastián giving the beautiful panoramic views you can take the furnacular to go up and there are plenty of games at the top

The wooden cable car was built in 1912 and is more than 100 years old!
I visited there in the morning around 11:00 and waited for 30 minutes to get on.
