Well, I can only rate this place for their carnitas.

I don't understand all the good reviews here. We went the other night and all they had available were tacos. So we ordered 3 tacos. Guess what? The cook can only count to TWO. We asked for guacamole and chips, they said chips not available. The guacamole is made from camote? Now someone needs to look up guacamole in the dictionary - it is an avocado based dip! Not squash or sweet potato. It was bland and flavorless. We finally taught the cook to count to THREE and got our final taco! The flavor was ok once you add salt and salsa but they are children sized servings! Not made for 2 hungry adults. So my opinion is for 1k pesos two people shouldn't leave a restaurant hungry. We went somewhere else for coffee and a snack 😋
Tried the el pastor taco. It was okay 👍 they have more seats inside. Parking is ample also
Tacos and tostadas were great. Perfect with cold beer. They didn't have avocados for their guacamole so they had sweet potato guac instead- it was a pleasant surprise.
I loved this place. On the road next door to Flotsam and Jetsam nightclub. The staff here are adorable . The tacos were the real deal and delicious. The atmosphere is al fresco, laid back and friendly I recommend to surfers, holidayers, transients, long termers and me again for sure next trip. Oh yeah !! And it has La Gringa's own darker brew of beer and Corona's as well as local beers. To be enjoyed !!
The best mexican place in elyu. Tacos and guac are REALLY GOOD! Plus the owners and staff are really nice. Thanks Chef Maco!

This is now my new favorite Mexican spot here in LU! I ordered tacos carnitas and it’s *chef’s kiss* amazing! Great service too! Adding this to my personal list of things I shouldn’t miss when in San Juan.
