Beautiful historic house with dojents to give history
What a lovely venue for free outdoor concerts in Summer! Bring dinner and chairs or a blanket and enjoy a relaxing evening on the hill.
Very interesting. Check website for days they are open. During the summer, on Sundays, they have bands playing on the big lawn. Very friendly docents. They have the rooms decorated for Christmas in December.
Beautiful historic building right in the center of Oxford. A great focal point for anyone driving through and they host free concerts on the lawn on Sundays during the summer. Also a neat spot to visit for field trips or tours to learn more about the history of the building and town.
Beautiful 1754 house. Worth it just walking the grounds. Need to return on one of the Sundays when the house is open.
We occasionally go to concerts here, and the music is really nice! The place has a really nice atmosphere, and it makes for a pleasant evening. All the bands are local, and the concerts are free! Highly recommend.
Building is very well kept, and the people who run the tours do so well. The mural (which is not really an original part of the house) is an odd touch, but aside from this the museum is wonderful and engaging for people of all ages.
