Didn’t see any rules until I got there, no kids allowed, uncommon from previous experience with dog parks. Wish I wouldn’t have paid extra to put towards a yearly pass.
The dog park portion is not the size it appears on Google maps. The other “park” area appears to be closed all the time? Water is available, some seating, not much shade.

I love this place, the dogs and the people, as does my dog. there is a very big large dog area and a smaller little dog area, plus an agility section in the big dog enclosure. if you don't have a registration for your dog with howard county, there is an honor station with forms requesting info about your dog (vax and license info) and envelopes for the $5 daily fee. be aware that the water is turned off until spring, so try to remember to bring a jug of water with you. (people are generally good about sharing, however.) there is no restroom except for a porta-potty in the parking lot. kids under the age of 12 are not permitted.
for the most part, folks are pretty attentive to their pets here, and there are quite a few regulars who will also keep an eye on each other's dogs. there are occasional dust-ups when someone gets very barky, or jealous about a toy, but mostly the dogs quickly resolve it themselves. I carry a small water bottle in my pocket, which breaks things up if tensions get too high.
park employees are around on weekends and often in the evenings during the week, checking registrations/daily permits, settling the rare dispute, and saying good night and locking up at dusk.
unfortunately, there have been a few car break-ins over the last year, so be sure to hide your valuables or better yet, keep them with you.

Most of these reviews appear to be for the dog park, not the park itself, and the rating for this park is misleading..
The park itself does not appear to be open to the public, ever.
The park itself is fenced/gated off, locked, and the last time I tried to visit there was a "no trespassing" signs at the entrance off the parking lot. This is an unusable area that isn't open to the public. There is a small array of solar panels on the property that I can only presume is owned by the county, and the reason this park was shuttered.

First time here and found it a great place. We stopped for a special event - a Doodle Romp - in the upper lot. Lots of room for the dogs to run around and play.
There are 2 more large lots next to the road. I believe they are designated as one for big dogs and one for small dogs. All areas are clean and well kept. Bonus, there is a restroom available.
5/29/22- Back for another Doodle Romp, attendance was around 25 Doodles of all sizes. Dogs are all friendly and happy to visit each other and run around.

Well maintained private dog park area. Attended a local Doodle Romp hosted by a Howard County resident. Super fun!
This park is wonderful!! They keep up maintenance on it year round and everyone who comes in is like family.
It's $5/day if you are not a member... The yearly fee is $40 and it is a little bit of work to get your dog signed up but it's so worth it!
During warmer season, bottom park is open and free water available and plenty of balls to play with! In the winter, the top field is open while they regrow the grass on the bottom field and water is turned off.

This is a really nice dog park. People are very friendly. The best part is there are two areas for the large dogs to play in. During the winter they close the one area and have everyone move over to the north side area. This lets the grass in the south side not get too destroyed over the winter. The other dog park I went to always had this issue and would have to fence off large parts of the park that was just a mud field.
