The head bartender is a bit of a stickler, kinda arrogant and strict. I probably wouldn't come back here again because of him. A bar for Minnesota transplants and he acts like he's from Minnesota. Hard pass.
Kind of seems like a bar made for midwestern transplants but it’s one of the few places that serves Canadian beer so it gets a plus for that. Service is nice enough and the space itself is decent. Just because it’s not a bar by New Yorkers and for New Yorkers doesn’t mean it can’t be decent. There are better spots in the neighborhood but the reality is the location is very convenient, prices are okay, and the crowds are fine. More like 3.5 stars but whatever. Live and let live a little.
Nice little spot. Feels like a hometown bar but it’s not just well drinks. We had Bloody Mary’s with beer backs. Good vibe on a Sunday afternoon. We’ll be back
Clearly a bar for Minnesota transplants. And it seems like all the games featuring Minnesota teams are displayed on their two or three TVs behind the bar. Beers are 8 bucks or more. They do can and shot specials for the same price. No food, so I bought a couple of slices from up the way and drank a beer. The bartender I had was fast and on it.
Not bad. The shots were interesting. I definitely recommend the lime one. The bartender was great, wish I got her name. My go to is gin and soda and she made a really good one. The pickle juice however was not the best I have ever had. It was more marinade sweet than brine salty.
Great Midwestern bar with high quality artwork! Do you love a beer-back with your bloody Mary? Do you love saber-tooth tiger paintings? That’s right! Ask Eric, one of the owners, for his tatertot recipe.
Great low key bar with beer and shot specials. Low lighting and chill crowd. Good place to meet friends, old and new.
