Despite being located downtown, they have a huge variety of fabrics. Perfect service and a cute dog as a bonus!!

Terrible experience shopping online from here. Don't buy from this store. They took well over the time they promised to ship, and when I asked why, they stated it was because they were waiting for the shipment of the buckles I ordered. When the package finally arrived, I found that only 1 of the 5 buckles I ordered arrived. They refunded the rest but why would you sell things you don't even have in stock??? To add insult to injury, The remnant wool fabric I ordered had a 4 inch square piece cut out of it as if they used it to make swatches. It was advertised as a 1.5 yards piece but cutting that square out made it less than that. The fabrics were also cut wayyyy off grain so I also lost quite a bit on that. Completely unprofessional and I will never order from here again.

This place is a goldmine! The fabrics are beautiful, high quality, and decently priced. And SO MANY choices! You can find anything in this store! And there's a shop dog! He was very gentle and loving :)

The store has a cool selection of fabrics, and there’s definitely a lot of space and inventory to explore. Unfortunately, the woman who “helped us” (the same curly haired woman I think the other reviewers are speaking of?) was abrasive and dismissive. It seemed like we were annoying her simply by being in the store. She didn’t greet us except to sternly tell us not to touch anything and wasn't very helpful. There was a younger man who works there was a lot more energetic and quickly helped us check out.

I confess I only ever ordered from here once, it was an online order and I came to pick it up. But wow, was I ever impressed with the beauty and quality of the fabric I received. I can't even explain it. It certainly matched the photos but far exceeded my expectations anyway. It was packed quickly and with immense care, and though I picked it up a week late there was absolutely no issue. I certainly hope to shop here more often now, can't recommend their embroidered silk chiffon enough (and I believe the price was very reasonable, too)

Would you pay $67.79 for this piece of material only to realize it doesn’t match your dress color.? I had bought a dress online but it was way shorter than I expected.When I went inside this store the lady came to me, mind you she was very nice at first, she saw the photo on my iPhone and said yes I have something that you can use . I was so happy to purchase this piece of French fabric that was already cut and ready to be sold except it’s not same color as my dress. I called back the number on the receipt and left a voicemail for someone to call me back.
I called back a week later and was told that she got my message but had no time to call back by advising they don’t do returns or refunds. Wasted my money and she was rude on the phone by stating she didn’t force me to buy anything, but thinking back she couldn’t rush enough to take my money …. They could give at least a store credit

Awesome place!! I went to the one of queen street and the lady was so nice. She helped me pick my fabric. Excellent experience, will be coming back

First off I am not a sower of any kind. I just need to pick-up some fabric for a little project I was doing.

When I walked in a young woman greeted me as she was taking care of someone else with a "hi. Feel free to have a look around and I'll come to check on you when I'm finished with these people". Very pleasant and I didn't feel in anyway put out. About 5 minutes later and she stops by to see if she can help. After telling her about my project she took me around to show some suggestions for about 10 minutes. Found a nice piece of fabric. When I mentioned that I also need some pillow stuffing she told me that they were sold out at the moment but suggested another store and told me to make sure I ask for a specific type.

All in a very helpful experience and a pleasure to have been at.
