Central Park Model Boat Sailing

Lovely place to hang out and relax. I was able to take some pictures with my camera during the afternoon, and it was completely safe.

Walked up to the kiosk in front of the kerbs memorial. Paid for 30 min of sailing with credit card which was $15. The person at the kiosk radioed for someone to show us our boat and how to control it. It was pretty easy with one control moving the sail and the other moving the rudder. Overall great experience and fun activity.

Make sure to check the wind forecast before heading out! This place is a lot of fun, especially on a breezy day.

Was closed for the holiday but the ducks kept my son entertained. No railing so obviously watch your kids. He loved it.

A perfect 10/10 experience - highly recommended! Super chill and peaceful, and there's something for everyone. No need for any prior experience to steer those RC boats; it's an absolute blast!

Went rowing for an hour in Central Park and then lunch at the boat house. Was really fun, very easy to rent and loads of fun rowing around looking at the scenery, watching the turtles and exchanging pithy comments with other boaters and people on the shore. Highly recommend for family. Wear sunscreen and hat as there is very little shade.
