Great service. Friendly staff. All instructions provided for a good experience in the lake. Safety first!
We have found Two Herons Marina to be adequate for all of our needs. They have transient slips & fuel for prices appropriate for on-the-water, plus the store is well stocked for our needs. But most importantly, they have clean plumbed bathrooms for those times we all eventually need. Thank you!
Our experience yesterday put a damper on Memorial Day. We rented one of the double decker boats and received it with a poorly secured anchor. When we had driven to our spot and attempted to anchor, the anchor fell off the rope because it was not properly tied on and we were not able to stop our boat from drifting away. This could’ve been prevented. Either they did not check the boat after the prior users before they rented it to us or simply are uneducated on how to make a knot. Called the office, they said they would deliver us a new anchor for $20 (I thought it was ridiculous to charge anything as this was at the fault of the marina, but was willing to pay the fee). It took an hour to be delivered and furthermore wasted over an hour of our time we were paying for, because the boat was not in working conditions. We had to keep burning gas (more $$) for safety reasons as we kept drifting away if we stopped. When I went to check out the boat at the end of the day, they instead charged us $100 for the anchor despite saying $20 over the phone. Furthermore, around a hour before the end of our reservation while driving back to the marina, I called saying we anticipated being around 10 minutes late because it would take us a little over an hour to get back to the boat rental from where we were anchored, since we didn’t get there until halfway through our reservation because of the faulty rope. Was told they would wave the late fee as a courtesy for the troubles with the anchor and the time we spent waiting on them to deliver it. When I went to check out the boat, the woman in the office insisted I would be paying a $50 late fee for bringing the boat in 10 minutes late. I understand having a late fee policy, but clearly there is a lack of communication because another employee had told me over the phone it was no problem. There was no manager for me to speak with. I am disappointed by the lack of attempt to make the situation right especially when we had already paid a pretty penny to rent the most expensive boat offered. I have rented from here a couple of times, but will no longer give them business as I felt there was no regard for paying customers. They more cared about squeezing every penny out of us than taking accountability and making the situation right on a holiday.
Full service marina with boat rental. They have some double deckers and boats with slides. Tucked back up in the giant no wake zone of lake Monroe. It'll take ya 20 minutes to get out to the main lake body 😆. Sheesh. No complaints. I was already on a boat so I didn't see much of the shore or other dock areas.
Owners have great service and communication as we keep our boat at the marina. Maintenance staff is great as well
Wonderful staff, great prices for a day out on the water, and top notch equipment!
How have the new marina owners not figured out waste management? It's a holiday weekend, with another day left and the dumpster of the marina is beyond full. Tonight, critters will rip open the trash and create litter.
How hard is it to get a second dumpster or order additional trash pickup? The owner wants to be Green Marine certified. This trash situation doesn't signal much commitment to being green.
I would guess a lot of this waste is recyclable. Yet another disappointment.

We rent the double decker pontoon boat whenever we have family or friends visit, and Two Herons is the best place to rent them from. Fair prices, courteous and helpful staff, and we always have a blast! The waterslide off the second level makes it extreme fun! Plenty of room to bring your floaties and toys for the day.
