Awesome experience. Great for kids. Where shoes with a little tread on them "just in case". We had a great younger age tour guide. He was funny. I would recommend going here if you are in the area.
We had a great time today. You want to have a great tour ask for Skyler. He is very informative and funny. Keeps the tour interesting. Definitely wear non skid shoes. Certain places were slippery. We liked the glass blowing place. Lots of beautiful items to purchase. The general store wasn't to impressed. A lot of the same thing and their mining bags were a little pricey. We were looking forward to the ice cream shop but it was closed. Not much else to do which was kinda a bummer.
This cave and lost lake were absolutely amazing. The tour guide was very informative and gave a great deal of history on the findings and the cavern and the lake.
Take time to stop and capture the coolest tours I've seen an awhile!!!
You will not be disappointed.

For those like me who didn't know, you take a tour with a small hike through a nice cool cave to a small boat ride then back. We got Angela and her "twin" as our tour guides and they both made sure that we had a good time. They have a small glass blower shop filled with beautiful hand blown customizable items, gift shop, and an ice cream shop that was closed at the time we went.
Had an awesome time with my family. Our tour guide was great, she made the tour of the cave fun and comical. im horrible with names I forget our tour guides name but I recommend having her as your tour guide, I think she said she was originally from up north in Ohio. ice cream from the sweets shop was good. kids enjoyed it. all around good time , I give it 5 stars.
Nice to place to explore some cave spots. The guided tours were awesome with lots of information. Don't miss the lake ride under the caves. Claustrophobic need to avoid this. Visited the place en route from Atlanta to Smoky Mountain. A good stop with rest and a visit. Water proof shoes/boots are recommended for the visit.
For the guides: Provide required time for people across all age. Felt being rushed which restricts the time to enjoy the awesomeness of the place.

Fun times! Very exciting! This cave is not so cold that you need a jacket. Our guide was very informative and made the experience a delight. The candy/ice-cream shop was nice, too. They also had blown glass shop and a water mill for the kids to pan for gem stones. Picnic areas were available and they had a smoking area. The hike down to the lake was a half mile down and the hike back up was approximately one quarter mile. There was an 86 year old woman in our group and she did it just fine, all the way to the lake. At the lake, you bourd small boats and go for a boat ride out on the lake. The lake was stocked with rainbow trout that had been tagged, in an attempt to see if there may be a way out under the water. The lake is about 70 feet deep at its deepest location and its about 3 to 5 feet deep at the dock. The entire experience lasts about 2 hours and it cost about $25 per person. I'm not sure if they had senior discounts or any for children but to me it was worth the money to see and experience.
This was such a cool stop on our road trip! We bought tickets there as we weren’t sure what time we would arrive and had no problem getting tickets for the next tour. We only had to wait 10 minutes. Becca was our tour guide and she was amazing! So knowledgeable and also had some amazing jokes! Would definitely visit again in the future.
