Amazing food! We spent a date night in Carmel and are so glad we made a reservation to eat dinner at Vesuvio. The gnocchi (no picture) was to DIE for. My husband and I both said we’d come back and order that as our meal 😂 We both loved our main dishes and desserts. We got a bottle of wine but weren’t super impressed with the wine, but the food made this place stand out. Highly recommend, it’s worth the higher price!
We took our mom here for her birthday, since italian is her favorite. My friend recommended this place and it did not disappoint! The service and food were incredible. Our server was so attentive and the whole staff was on top of it all! We were seated quickly, ordered, and by the time I took my second sip of vino, our food was served piping hot! I wish we could remember our server’s name, because she was so great!! Our resos were at 7pm on 12/1/24 if by the very slim chance she sees this…Your service was impeccable! We’ll definitely be back!!
Pure italian extravaganza by Chef Pepé! The pork ribs brought me tears of joy, followed by the mushroom pizza and the veal ravioli which were close seconds! Service was good (we found a table for 6 without a resy on a Saturday evening), the house chardonnay was refreshing and the atmosphere was christmassy! Will definitely return for those perfectly cooked ribs.
We love this place. Eat in the dining room or on the rooftop. It's the same great food and service. Note: On the rooftop, you have to find your own seats and/or table, and it's first come, first served.
We dined on the rooftop and started with garlic bread, ordered the salmon, and added a margherita pizza. All delicious!

We stopped by here for a quick bite before dinner. We didn't have reservations but they have first come first serve seating on the rooftop, with a similar menu to downstairs. We loved the outdoor ambiance & the food was satisfying. We ordered the bruschetta & truffle gnocchi. A bit overpriced for the quality of the food but we would be back for the ambiance.

Great service, atmosphere and a fun place for dinner! The pastas are made in house, so fresh! The lasagna was the best we have had! Drinks were tasty and well presented 🥂 The wait staff was attentive and focused on each customer😎
This is my third time eating at this restaurant and it just as amazing as I remember it every time. No matter what we order, it’s delicious, fresh and full of flavor. A must when in Carmel.
