It’s closed on a Sunday!! What a disappointment for those to come visit the city and want to try the boats.
All of the perennials including tulips and blue bells are in bloom along the paths near the boathouse. The cherry blossoms are just starting to fade, but you can still enjoy the falling petals, and you’re sure to smell the scent of the Koreanspice Viburnum bushes along the lake.

When they cleared our plates, they piled plates and food leftovers on the table in front of me, threw plates and made loud noises, and argued with other employees. We were very uncomfortable and wanted to leave the restaurant as soon as possible. The Food was good.
The program was saying that the boat house is opening at 10:00am and the employees came 10:20 with coffees on there hands very relaxed and they didn't bother to even say "sorry" for keep us waiting. They took additional 15 minutes to "slow" prep their selfs. Finally after 35 minutes of waiting we did our ride. It is unexpecteptable for the employees of a tourist attraction like that to behave like that.
Just iconic. Beautiful New York landmark. Right on the lake by Bethesda Fountain. Everything is perfect. The service prompt and courteous. The food exquisite, beautiful, delicious and just so good.
The views are simply incredible however. It gets no better. Gorgeous lakeside views of rowboats and gondolas. Turtles and ducks. The sun and the clouds. Fall in Love with New York, with Central Park, with the Boathouse. Enjoy

Very beautiful spot and friendly wait staff. The food is superb and such flavor. The ambience is so welcoming.
