Most practical terminal i have seen. Many washroom provided. Vending machine price affordable. Boarding room huge space. Many socket. Food ok at boarding room and outside. Check in counter abit less. Aircon is very cold. Free wifi sommore.
Great little airport hub in southern Thailand. Clean , modern , easy to pass security and go to gate. Small selection of food / drink too.
Nice newly upgraded airport. Clean and spacious. Still a lot of improvement to be done on the operation side.

Plus the conveyer belt for luggage drop-off was stuck and passengers have to wait for the ground crew to move the luggage manually before other can drop luggage.

nice new terminal building for both international and domestic, but most traveller services to be developed. air conditioning is VERY COOL; bring a scarf / a thin jacket in your bag. at arrival, most transportation offerings are based on SHARED vehicles with many stops. at departure, we arrived 3 hours before the flight; only a few seating areas and not many eateries, byo food if needed. the air-side is literally nothing, and it is even COOLER !
✅ If you arrive and wanna go to Aonang, you can easily find public transport. Here the options with price:

Taxi around ฿600/car
(if you want to go back to the airport later, you can easily find ‘airport transfer minivan’ around the tourist spot aonang. The cost is same ฿150, please book 1 day earlier. They will pickup you at the hotel lobby).

✅ If you’re Malaysian coming here for 3-4days, we suggest to use roaming service from your telco. We used Digi roaming cost RM25/3days. super cheap and enough for us, no need to spend to simcard & topup.
⚠️If you want to use the toilet with bidet, you better test the bidet first. Some of the toilet has low pressure water, some no water at all to clean. Please try first. 😇

Clean Efficient Spacious Brand New 💯 Great facility with good design and efficient friendly staffs. Note that there are shops and food drink near the gate after passing security check. Highly recommended Bellinee’s - delicious and good value for money. Zurich Bread which located near check-in counter is unreasonably overpriced.
April 2023 and Krabi has a brand new airport - so it's big and empty. Signage is not good yet, and staff not well trained enough.
Once through customs I could not find free water replacement, which is not good. Very few shops as yet. Comfortable seating.
I'm sure it will improve. About half an hour's drive to Ao Nang.

The worst management airport ever. The x-ray at entry point to departure hall have 2 lines but their management is the worst. Long line starting from boarding pass check point to X-ray point which squeezed into 1 line to body searching. Please spare your time over the weekend. Departure hall is dirty with bad ventilation, hot like air con down as always.
