If I could give this place a zero I would. On a slow Monday night we ordered two appetizers and one entree. It took 20 minutes to get cheez wiz and stale chips they claim is queso but it was more like mystery cheese and old chips from a Super Bowl party in 2015. Kyle, the manager SUCKS and didn’t offer to assist, he just gave excuse after excuse for justifying why it took 30 minutes for sliders! The customer service was horrible and we never got the rest of our order after waiting over 30 plus minutes. Don’t waste your time eating here save your money..trust me.

The rotisserie chicken was good but salty!
Good to checkout if you’re looking for a sport bar in the area!

Angry that i was charged $15.00 for a glass of beer...
Sunday afternoon around 4pm I sat at the bar and ordered a draft beer, actually I had 2. Guess i should have looked at the cocktail menu. The cost for one draft beer was $15.00! Shocked and angry! I paid the $30.00.. I inquired to the server regarding the price of a draft beer on my check ( i never received an itemized bill) and his response was even more shocking and arrogant - might I add... He responded, " you're in Meat Packing!" I presented my card, signed the receipt, no tip... and I left. Makes no sense to speak further with a team member who obviously needs further training on how to speak to its CUSTOMERS. Later in the week I called back to inquire about the cost of a draft beer and the individual I spoke with would not tell me the cost of a draft beer! This is beginning to smell like animal waste.
Needless to say, I've decided to pursue this matter further. This is not about money as I am no stranger to the property nor dining and drinking at establishments in Meat Packing. This is about principle....

Stopped by for lunch. There were only two servers waiting and busing over a dozen tables. (Poor planning by management)

The buttermilk fried chicken sandwich. The fries were delicious the sandwich not so much. The bun and chicken filet were dry. The cabbage slaw was flat.

I guess here you are paying for the real estate not the food.

Came here on a Sunday for brunch with a group of 3. We were seated and ordered burgers and fries. After 45 minutes we were not served and our waiter did not give us any updates or try to help in any way. When we asked where the food was he said he would check in the kitchen, but instead he stood by the register on his phone. Awful service. The restaurant was nearly empty, with only a couple other small groups. No excuse for the slowness.

If you are here, you are in an area with so many many alternatives and you should NOT go eat here by any means. The food is very average and staff is not attentive. Just save yourself time and go somewhere across/down the street where you will have a better experience for sure.

To no surprise it seems this experience we had was not irregular per other reviews on here.

Overall good easygoing swanky bar. Went here for drinks the bartenders were all really nice and they gave us macaroons from the cafe next door even though they had to walk into the hotel portion to bring them to us. The Macaroons were so good 🤩. I didn’t try the food this time, but I would go back.

This place is a great bar and restaurant! The Chester has a great selection of cocktails 🍹 and comfort food 🍔 - definitely try the Queso 🫕 with Chips and Spinach🥬 and Artichoke Dip! The Mac & Cheese 🧀 is also great! Staff 👨‍🍳 is super nice and service is fantastic! I wish I came here more often!

The overall status of this restaurant was pretty much just okay. The food was alright and good enough to fill up an empty stomach. The service wasn't great. It toke a while to get our order taken and for our food to arrive. The burger, the fish tacos and grilled cheese were okay. But the avocado toast was just very bland.
