This is actually a pretty nice park. There's a very small beach (I guess) that leads out to Jamaica Bay. You could see the planes taking off from JFK, too. I'd give all 5 stars if people were to stop dumping trash there.
I'm here to tell you about Hamilton Beach Park. It's a small park near the train tracks, so it can get pretty loud sometimes. But if you're into fishing, you might like it because you can cast your line from the shore and catch some fish. They also have a playground and a basketball court, so if you have kids and live nearby, you can take them there to play by the water. But honestly, it's not that great of a park and I wouldn't bother going there if you live far away.
This “park” looks nothing like the pictures. The “beach” is filthy & un-walkable. No beach signs. Dont waste your time.
Peaceful area with a fairly small parcel of shore. A really nice view though, and you can observe the growth of shells and mussels!

Great place to visit, icecream; rollercoaster, slides, water rides and and q few others that were exciting within the same place.
Amazing relaxing environment and park to get photos of the (A) train on the Bridge and clear my head. Best times to come is during the evening time when it’s less busy and humid.
Nice place, you can see the airplane landing or taking off, at the neighborhood there is a house with chicken, rabbit and goose where your children can enjoy, the only problem was that my child didn’t want to leave.
I spent 3-4 hours on this lovely and quiet beach during a layover from JFK airport. It’s much closer than going into the city and I needed a place to take a nap. I took the AirTrain to Howard beach station and walked here for 15 minutes. I was lucky not to have heavy bags and the weather was gorgeous. The neighborhood felt summer-towny and safe. There is also a kids park. To access the beach you have to follow the small trail on the left.
