Beautuful easy trail to walk. Nice sites to see.

Scenic area inside the confines of Ft. Belvior, Va. Area surrounded by trails, water, and recreational opportunities; boating, archery, picnicing, to name a few.
I always try to go here when I get a chance. I may not hike far but I love getting the quiet in the city. This trip, it was windy and cold so a quick walk to clear my head then back to reality.
Super fun and easy trail with lots (and lots) of off shoots. Very choose your own adventure.

Fantastic trail, great for beginner hikers, families, and kids. Lots of offshoot trails. The path is closed part way in so best to start at the southern point.
The network of trails here is fabulous! Bring your binoculars if you want to watch the wildlife, particularly the variety of birds. Bring appropriate footwear if it’s rained in the last week or so because parts of the trail(s) get wet. Bring your bread crumbs if you have a bad sense of directions because you can get lost!
