Thank god this restaurant is closing in 10 days. Nobody will ever have to eat rice and chicken curry as Biriyani. I bought 2 chicken Biriyani today and it was literally rice mixed with chicken curry and the meat tasted like it was uncooked.
I totally loved the place. The guy over there was really nice. Everything he made was 10/10. We tried Masala dosa which was crispy and Kerala style Frankie. The sauces with dosa were mouth watery that i never tasted such flavour anywhere else. Ambiance was serene and place was clean.
The best Indian food in Kanata. Love their lunch specials. Everything tastes so good plus owner grinds up his own spice blends and makes the best homemade porantha bread yummy 😋😁
Best Indian food in Kanata! I’ve tried many places and this one just takes the top spot. The flavours are absolutely delicious, they always do every dish I’ve had perfectly, and service is always friendly.
The old guy(may be owner) is an ___ who is so rude to customers and he don’t have patience to speak properly. Food is more worst than that. Being Indian I can confidently say this is worst and disgusting restaurant. I have literally seen cockroach in his food and he smiles and says that’s by mistake. He says he can give other food but can’t return the money. Friends you still want to have in such disgusting restaurant and get diseases?
An excellent, independent restaurant, with amazing food. The owner is friendly and personable, He's more than willing to cater to personal preferences (heat level of food, added veggies, etc). He makes everything in-house as it's ordered, so you know it's freshly made. I highly recommend!
This was some of the best Indian food I have had in a very long time! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed every bite! The owner, Anil was very hospitable and made our meals from scratch! If was definitely worth the wait for our food! We look forward to dinning there again soon!
Upon my recent visit, I found the price of the food to be quite high, which was somewhat disappointing. However, I must say that the overall cleanliness of the establishment was impressive and certainly made for a pleasant dining experience. Unfortunately, my order of porotta did not meet my expectations in terms of taste and quality. While I appreciate the effort put into preparing the dish, I couldn't help but feel a bit let down by its lackluster flavor. Overall, while the cleanliness of the place was noteworthy, the high price and subpar dish did not fully meet my expectations.
Decent Kerela food. Some items are a bit pricey but flavors are decent. Flavors are toned down from authentic versions to make it more palatable for regular diners. When we came in, it was just the owner Anil doing all from service to cooking.
