This is a great supermarket. They’ve been located here for so many years since I was a kid and when I lived in the lower Eastside, I always went shopping here.
I've been coming to this store for years. But lately they have been off there game. I went today to get some stuff one was yogurt alot were expired so I went to get tropicana with calcium and every one I picked expired sep 6. It was brought to the attention of one of the workers were he said to just put it on the floor. This is not the 1st time this has happened. They should hire a couple people to do quality check on all there products to make sure stuff is not expired. Hopefully they get better.
Urban fabulous. It does what is suppose to do, gives you a place to shop for groceries. Not necessarily clean or courteous, just functional. The area around the store needs "attention" and communal adjustments to brighten the area. Dimly lit for a supermarket, aisles are too small for manuever, stock is not great and the staff is conversationally challenged.
I only go here because it’s the closest supermarket to me. When I do go it’s all about basics like milk and eggs. Always check the expiration date of the items as many seem to be on the verge of expiration or already expired. Cashiers are nice most of the time. Not a good selection of better quality items.
I knew of this location but haven't gone till today. All the employees here are so helpful and extremely nice. The aisle are kept clean and neat. I wasn't able to reach done items as usual because of my height 😂 I asked the gentleman by the door if he would help and he was more than happy to help me. The cashier that helped me was also super friendly and very courteous. I think I will shop here more often. Pleasant employees keeps customers coming back 😸
The food is over price and the quality of the meat is not good. Limited on variety of items you can get. In also there is a cashier Spanish dark skin lady with curly hair be careful when you go to her with your credit or debit card somehow she charges more than what the actual price is on your card. don't even waste your time do not go to the supermarket. Soon as you step in you can tell the qualities of the food there is limited. The store is messy full of boxes everywhere. This supermarket needs a new supervisor that can run it. I'm assuming since it's in a poor neighborhood no one cares.
