Very yummy. Idk what else to say. Yum!! You order/pay at the counter and they bring it to you (nice and easy) and the food is delicious! My friend and I both got the “Ba-Mhee Tofu” but I got noodles with it and she got rice, very comforting, we both absolutely demolished our meals. Great portion size for the prices! (still no match for 2 hungry girls) Lovely casual ambiance with indoor and covered outdoor seating!
Food’s humbly amazing! Vegetarian curry noodz were a hit. I loved the number 7 Tom yom soup noodles. Outdoor seating area accommodated all 7 of us + twin babies. It’s also heated!! Loved their Thai ice tea too. Very affordable! 💎
In a city inundated with Thai restaurants, Khao Moo Dang manages to stand out with their authenticity, all the way down to the plastic stools in their outdoor seating (a staple of eating street food in SE Asia). You can't go wrong with anything on their menu, and portion sizes are generous with the protein. If you're thinking about it, just go here. You won't be disappointed :)

Super busy little shop serving some seriously good rice plates and noodles. Their specialty is bbq pork and roasted pork. We ordered one of the dry noodle bowls and one soup noodle and neither disappointed. The staff are also super friendly. A definite must visit when in Portland!
Went to Thailand a couple of months ago and really missed Thai food. This spot helped my boyfriend and I satisfy our cravings!!

Fun little vibe that spills out into the sidewalk in a nice part of Hawthorne. I don't really know anything about Korean food other than the handful of restaurants I've been to in Portland, but this food was unique and seemed authentic (with the disclaimer that I don't really know what authentic Korean food is like).
We had dumplings and dumpling soup and it was really delicious. My 12 yr old kid loved it.
It's super casual where you order at the counter and they bring it out, then you bus yourself. The menu seems big but it's a lot of variations of the same (very very good) things: pork, noodles, rice, greens, dumplings, soup or dry, etc. Definitely worth checking out.

Melt in your mouth delicious! Big serving size will make you think you'll have leftovers, but once you start, you can't put your fork down until it's all gone.
07/08/23: I came back to this place sooner than I expected. The food is incredibly amazing and delicious as usual. I figured out that it got crowded quickly at dinner time and we had to wait 20-25 mins to order. It is always my valuable Portland stop and I still recommend it to anyone
06/11/23: I stopped by this small dining from a friend’s recommendation. I was happy because I did visit here. The food was super delicious with reasonable portions. I enjoyed the crispy pork with noodles. It did worth my Portland visit and I will come back soon. Stay tuned for more updates!!!
