The experience at Akrame started with an inconspicuous entrance that opens to beautiful minimalist design, where the sophisticated and delicious plates take the stage. The mix makes dining a joyful moment to share with loved ones.
We chose Akrame to celebrate my husband’s birthday. The flavors and ambience made it a special moment for him and the family. The feuille à feuille d’huître et caviar was a wonderful surprise. The rest of the menu was memorable. We will definitely return to commemorate other special moments.
Congratulations to the chef and his team for creating an exquisite culinary experience that brings joy to those of us fortunate to taste it.

This restaurant offers the finest dining experience in Paris. Every element - from the service, to the appetizers, the wine selection, the main dishes, and the desserts - is simply brilliant.
Wow. A great dinner. Nice ambience , great interior design, choice of perfume, and art works by Daniel Arsham. Each dish was a surprise. The timing was just right too.
Now on to the dishes I enjoyed.
The smoked butter was enchanting.
The other two dishes were
The turbot fish with passion fruit cream/ vin jaune sauce and veal neck. What was most enjoyable is the mix of sauces.
What i thought wasnt that well wax the caviar, It was a bit too salty; and the fish dishes which tasted bland compared to others.
There were three desert , each one was again a surprise. My favourite was the second to last once, the chili pepper yogurt.
Overall strongly recommend.

Excellent service, cozy atmosphere just a few tables. Presentation of the dishes is definitely at a Michelin Star level. The taste of the dishes was good, but from the whole menu just 1 really stood out for me, asparagus with coal, the rest were just as expected but without surprising my taste buds. Also the butter with vegetable coal was excellent! Fixed menu 200€, glass of champagne 30€. Overall very pleasant experience.
We visited Akrame on a Thursday evening. The restaurant is a bit hard to find because it is down a small alley and there was no signage that we could see.
The restaurant is quite small and very intimate and cozy. I have never been in a restaurant with such a high ratio of wait-staff to patrons before and the service is really superb. Many of the items were assembled at table-side which added to the 'experience'.
There is no menu, just, "The Experience." I do not know how often the menu changes, but our waiter kept telling us that the next item would be a surprise... And I was like, "It is all a surprise!" But maybe it is less surprising if you're able to go there regularly.
During the meal, we had fresh, crusty sourdough bread with two flavors of excellent home made butter.
I won't go over the entire meal, but a few highlights - the Egg. This was one of the appetizers, the egg itself was perfect, but the real star was the broth which was like the penultimate dream of chicken soup.
The John Dory cheek. This was presented by the Chef himself, and it was sublime. One of the very best instances of cooked fish I've ever had.
We had sweetbreads for a main course. They were presented with a beef reduction topped with orange, with tahini and fresh herbs on the side. The meat was tender and moist without the weird spongy texture that you sometimes find with sweetbreads. However what really made this dish spectacular was the reduction and the fresh spices. In particular, the fresh mint.
All of the desserts were standouts. The Chef's signature dessert of custard with a chocolate crumbles was a high point as well as the cubes, presented on an actual granite stone, filled with chocolate and Grand Marnier.
The one discordant note was the scallops with seaweed consomme. The dish was presented with a raw, thinly sliced scallop which was married with hit seaweed consomme at the table. Unfortunately the consomme was not hot enough to actually overcome the coldness of the bowl, so the dish ended up being luke warm. The consomme had an excellent flavor, like the essence of shellfish with notes of seaweed, but it was brought down by the coldness and texture of the scallop.
Overall I thought this restaurant was fabulous. The wait-staff was amazing and the food was excellent with many novel combinations. If we come back to Paris, I hope to eat here again.

Fun. Whimsical. Joy. That’s how I felt as I dined there. Each dish on the blind tasting menu is unique in terms of cooking method and presentation, most importantly, tasty (certainly not one of those pretentious food that look good but disappoint on the palate). Suggestion: don’t make this your first meal in Paris, as it will set too high a bar for the rest of your trip!
Best restaurant ever! I am amused by the food here. Every dish is delicious and well presented. Thanks to the manager who show me the huge truffle, that’s insane 😲😲😲 Excellent service and amazing food!
we went here for my birthday looking for a special meal in Paris, and it didn't disappoint at all.
We went for the full menu, which actually might have been a bit too much food. The regular tasting menu would probably be fine.
Most dishes are relatively simple, they focus on some flavours, but they were all extremely well prepared and tasty. My two favourites were the cod with trout caviar, and the pigeon. Those two were incredible. They also had a bunch of veggie dishes that I enjoyed a lot. The balance between veggies, fish and meat was quite interesting, as these in some fine dining restaurants they skew towards the strong flavours of meat, but it wasn't the case here.
Desserts were quite good as well. I really liked the chocolate mousse.
Service was very attentive. Some of the waiters struggled a bit with english, but they tried hard to explain us everything, which was very appreciated.
The wine menu was relatively exotic, at least for my limited knowledge of french wines, but that's probably more on me than anything.
All in all a great experience. It is very expensive, but I guess Paris + 1 Star is just going to be like that.
