This may be an unpopular opinion, but Merrily we roll along was ok, not great.
The music was sweet, but not memorable. The young child got more applause than the three stars.
The actors did an excellent job. But maybe there's a reason this play hasn't been successful in the past.

Absolutely stunning theater with spacious seats despite it being older.

Unfortunately, I can't ignore the fact that there are two big flights of stairs to the balcony (the elevator only goes to the dress circle one flight up), hard to access and too small bathrooms. You simply can't use the restroom at intermission because the dress circle restroom has two stalls with toilets that don't flush fast enough. This means folks arrive back to their balcony seats when the play has restarted and are so disruptive to those seated.

Please make the space more accessible and comfortable to everyone.

The Hudson Theater is truly a remarkable venue. I had the opportunity to watch Arthur Miller's 'Death of a Salesman' there, and the experience was exceptional. The atmosphere inside the theater is simply superb.

One of the unique features is the lobby, which houses a mini bar where you can purchase drinks and even enjoy them while watching the play. This adds a delightful touch to the overall theater experience.

In summary, the Hudson Theater provides not only outstanding performances but also a well-crafted atmosphere that enhances the enjoyment of the arts. It's a place where you can savor both the play and your favorite beverage, making it a memorable evening out.

Love this little ole theater. You really never get too far from the performance regardless of where you sit.

It was a delight to see the Broadway production of "A Dolls House" at the Hudson Theater. A classic theater in every sense, very ornate in decor and architecture. Also comfortable, clean and well run. Jessica Chastain and cast were wonderful. In a very simple setting they brought this production to life. We can all relate to life's struggles and triumphs. So come and enjoy this adaptation, it will touch anyone that sees it. Bravo to the cast and production team!

Watched Death of a Salesman here ($62 balcony tickets) and it was an amazing production!
We had a balcony seat and I believe the way the theater is set up you can see and hear clearly from any angle. So if you want to save and purchase cheaper sitting, you will not miss out on a quality experience!
There is food and drink options across several floors and the rest rooms are clean and easy to access.
The show I watched was 3 hours long and I felt very comfortable in the theater and afterwards!
Highly recommended!

Older theater. Each section is small so no seats are bad. Had mezzanine and balcony. Sat in last row and was still good view. Have now seen 3 shows there this year.

Went in for my first ever Broadway show watching Death of a Salesman and god, the entire production was incredible-

The theatre itself is quite small, but has two floors and what looks to be a lot of the classic interior fixtures. The set design, lighting, and effects all worked well to complement the play.

The play itself exceeded all expectations. Tense, calm, aggressive, and tragic all in one. The cast acted it so well, I almost forgot I was even sat in the theatre at all.

An experience I’ll never forget.
