A nice traditional sushi restaurant, with lovely service and good food. I had the chirashi Omakase which had nice rice and a good selection of premium fish, although some of the pieces were a bit small. I also had the grilled yellow tail should that was well cooked, big and tasty. Overall, a nice place with good food. I’ll be back.

Yohan was our waiter the 2 times, hes great Such an amazing place with knowledgeable, attentive staff, they switch out the selection when certain stuff is in season..and import from Japan. Not a fan of the miso soup personally but the omakase can't be beat .. highly recommend !! 🥰

Delicious! We got the omakase and everything was perfect. I was also really excited to see that they had nodoguro! The garden was a nice little space to eat in, away from everything/everyone.

Michelin star??? Really???
Judge for yourself to see if this is worth the $90 Omakase... Makes you wonder if the people works there are real Japanese and if this is a real Japanese restaurant... If I'm their Japanese sushi chef, I'd be ashamed to even remotely consider any of these Omakase quality... 6 people spent almost $900... What a disappointment...
I'm simply going to say buyers beware...

Friendly staff and spacious restaurant!
The original sushi omakase has a high value, but I would say it’s not that special.
The premium omakase is good as well, but a little pricy in my opinion.
The draft beer is really good with low price, really recommended.

Overall still a good Japanese restaurant!

Gourmet sushi at a reasonable price! Fish tasted so fresh and flavorful! Reminded me of the now shuttered Tomoe.

The Chirashi Omakase was so good, although at $55 it was a little steeply priced. The supplemental rolls I ordered were great, as was the cod!

The Sake was also yummy and sitting at the sushi bar further enhanced the dining experience.

Overall I rate this spot 4.5 stars due to the price-value proposition (a little expensive), but will give them 5 stars for the review because it was a good time at an up-and-coming restaurant.

One of the best sushi places in nyc. No frills just good quality. You can call ahead of time to put your name on the waitlist. Expect a wait. I LOVE the ginger dressing that comes with the house salad. The California roll is fresh crab - one of my favorites. The spicy tuna is also great. Highly recommend.
