The history here is very fascinating, and it's hands-on exhibits give you a real sense of what life was like now approaching almost 275 years ago.

Such a cool little place to visit. The trails and the historic sites are so fun and enthralling to walk around. Be sure to go up to God's Acre it is so peaceful up there you won't regret it

.Bethabara Park is one of the most important historic sites of Winston-Salem located just outside the city center. The land is maintained very well. It is the first Moravian settlement in the area. The buildings and items in the building are also very well maintained. 👌
I visited during the apple festival. 🍎. There were guides standings at imp locations dresses as moravians and explained the history and lifestyle of moravians. Moravians placed community and education at the center of everything.
Apple Festival had lots of vendors for food, souvenirs, face painting, and others. I liked apple cidar syrup and bought a bottle. Another one was pig race. It's the weirdest thing I have seen. It was fun, and the kids enjoyed it.
The Bethabara Park grounds are great for walking. It's serene and calm. I will visit it again in the fall to check out the nature beauty.

My husband and I decided to stop by two weeks ago and it was just LOVELY. It is a small place but the history is rich. We walked around freely and admired the scenery. It was so peaceful and quiet. There was a very nice lady dressed in period clothing who offered us free stew and bread and it was such a fun experience. We really had a great time.

Very inspiring place because of the people that once lived there. It was a beautiful place of history where the Moravian people settled in the late 1700s a part of Christian faith and history of North Carolina.

Visitor center closed until April 1st 2023. Still able to walk around the property and read about the buildings and remnants. Great history of the area and lots of firsts for the entire state like the first known Distillery. Lots of walking trails and historical plaques throughout.

Meghan gave us a great tour of the grounds and the Gemainhaus. She was so inspiring and full of knowledge. You could tell how much she enjoys what she does. The whole village is beautifully displayed, clean and many information markers to explain each area. My sister and I visited with her two grandkids. The 9 year old loved it and honestly the 3 year old enjoyed it and also asked questions. It's amazing how progressive the Moravians were when they settled here in the Winston-Salem area. This is the 3rd time I have been here and enjoy it every time. Very well preserved and definitely recommended!

Cool historic park representing the early Moravian settlement of the Winston area. One thing to note is that maps takes you to the park trails and not to the visitors center / historic site. The trails are very poorly marked with maps only as you enter the trails. If you are looking to see where the early settlement was you are better off going to the Moravian church and then down the road a bit to get to the historic site. The site and visitors center themselves are well worth it if you are into historic sites. A few old buildings still exist, lots of foundations and a few recreations. This site is well paired with a visit to the other historic Winston-Salem sites.

I love coming here! It's a really nice walk and you get to see ruins from the 1700s. The garden is beautiful and it's a good spot for photos! It's a pet friendly park so please pick up after your dog! I specifically enjoyed the walk that led me to the graveyard!

This is a nice historical village with demonstration. The employees re-enact history, and they were all so nice. The entrance to this site is a one lane narrow path with cars alternative in both directions. all the historical buildings are located on both sides of the road, easy to find and not miss anything. The buildings in the fort are gone, leaving just the foundation. I took the road toward the farm on the left, and it took me to another exit without having to wait in the line if cars to share the one lane road to exit. This park is dogfriendly. There is more of the ground to explore with trails behind the Fort. I didn't get to check it out because my girls was tired from the 1.73 mile walk around Reynolds Garden.
