What an amazing place to walk through or relax in. It has so many little nooks, some with views, others surrounded by flowers, where you can read, listen to music privately, draw, or even write. I can imagine coming back here every few days for some inspiration or to relax my brain. Being on a hill, each of the gardens is terraced, giving the impression that this place is larger than it really is.

Don’t forget to check out the free museum on the east side of the block—it’s beautiful and has some interesting history about the gardens and its proprietors.

Prepare to spend hours in here and never want to leave. So many secluded spots to grab a book or catch up with a friend. Access to the museum is hard- you have to go around since there’s no access from the gardens.

Incredible gardens, architected by Beatrix Farrand. Very diverse styles but strongly integrated. Well maintained. It has me rethinking gardening and architecture.

What a gem! A peaceful haven of beautiful gardens and paths. Each terrace or flowerbed has been created with imagination and care to create thrill after thrill. A stunning combination of nature and human skill. Under $10 entry for hours of joy. In addition, catch the inspirational outdoor exhibition Brier Patch until 3 May.

An absolute must visit in Georgetown. It seems more and more people are finding out about this gorgeous gem in the heart of the city. Magnificent and peaceful gardens and they host events from time to time. Online tickets are required as of April 2022.

Gorgeous garden to enjoy alone or with a company. I spent three hours exploring the beautiful plants and trees. As a nature lover, this place was my absolute favorite for green therapy. Highly recommended because this conservatory looks and feels great in every season.

Lovely gardens in DC, some areas are better maintained than others. Well worth a visit if you are a local or have visited DC a few times, otherwise I would recommend prioritizing the Smithsonian gardens and Arboretum. The biggest complaint is the significantly limited hours make it challenging to visit (doesn't open until 2:00)

On a visit to DC I swung by this museum and gardens during the peak cherry blossom season. The grounds, gardens and architecture of the buildings are beautiful. People were laying on the grass just looking up at the trees. Definitely worth a visit on a gorgeous day.
