Stunning interior with delicious traditional food. Soups are great, yet wouldn't recommend ordering apple strudel. On Monday's evening the restaurant was packed, so we needed to wait a bit for a table, despite two floors in the building. It's quite loud, but still good place for big companies and families. Orders are quickly executed, however, you can feel the time pressure from a waitress.
Must try this restaurant when you visit Bratislava. They serve very good traditional Slovakian dishes and prices are very reasonable. The place is very big and cozy. Gives you a feel of how people back in the days dine. Staff were efficient and helpful
The food is ok and not so much overpriced compared to other spots in the area. Service is a bit cold to rude but fast. It can get quite loud which you need to know before you go. Tables are not always cleaned well.
Beautiful restaurant located in a theatre!
The experience was very authentic. The walk to the restaurant is very interesting, you can see their own brewery, where they brew the beer they serve (which is really good by the way!).
Also once inside, everything is beautifully decorated to make the meal an experience.
I ordered the typical dish of dumplings with goat cheese and was delighted. I would definitely recommend it!

Overall, my dining experience had its ups and downs. The food, while not my personal preference, due to its too rich, cheesy, and salty notes. The garlic soup and kafola were delightful highlights of the meal.
However, the main not quite meeting my expectations. The service doesn't seem friendly to me.
At last, I will say I may choose a different dish next time, the experience was a mix of flavors and moments.

We wanted to try authentic local good and arrived here. Best choice ever. The food was super delicious so we even came again for lunch the next day. Among all the ordered dish i loved the potatoes meat balls the most, which was not too salty and came in a combination of fried onions and sauerkraut.
It's a nice restaurant in an old building, they tried hard to imitate an old ship.
Soup in bread is one of the traditional food here. It was a good soup but it was nothing for the bread. I only finish 20% of the bread with the amount of soup they brought which was disappointing.
We ordered the ribs and pork knuckle. They were very good and the portions were huge. We couldn't finish half of it. It's better to order the pork knuckle for 2.
In general, it was a good experience.

My friend highly recommended that we should visit this lovely restaurant when coming to Bratislava, and we did on our first day here. We were very happy with the dishes we had as well as the elegant decor and soothing vibes. It was truly a feast for both the eyes and the mouth.
