In the middle of the night review...it was ok place..I think the carne mechada NEEDS lot of flavor...empanadas were fresh...but the meat has no flavor...need people with little bit more willingness to serve...not even a WELCOME word to us or else..while I was there
I absolutely love the arepas at this place! Whenever I'm craving a satisfying meal, this is my go-to spot. My favorite choice is the one with the most toppings, and the chicken salad with avocado is simply amazing. Highly recommended!
Normal place to get venezuelan food. The service is regular and the food 3/5
We have been going to this place for years. Today we had a horrible customer service experience. We ordered 2 arepas, 2 sodas and when we asked for extra salsa the lady told us in a rude way that it was a maximum of 2 salsas per arepa, we said it was okay and asked for 2 more salsas. After we paid we realized the server charged us $2 for the extra 2 salsas. I mean, who in a right state of mind would think charging $1 per little container of salsa would be okay? We felt robbed and disrespected. Never have had that experience here before. That’s a shame. We used to liked it here: not anymore!
The food normally is good, however, their customer service is below sub-standard which makes you think twice before going or ordering from here. The place is okay for a quick grab but that’s it. If you can please try to eat here during the day, by night the food quality greatly decreases (burned empanadas), my guess is that the night shift doesn’t care about the food or anything. Their empanada and arepas are good, every other dish that they have is better to get it at other Venezuelan restaurants in the Orlando area. Empanada de carne mechada is a must if you never eaten Venezuelan empanadas.
Visited Arepa La Nueva after the Bad Bunny concert , the service was ok , the arepas was good , the empanadas were delicious and the location wasn’t too bad. Will definitely come back to get more empanadas and tequeños.
1st visit to this Venezuelan restaurant. Friendly staff, especially the lady who served us even though they don't serviced to tables. Food was fine; we tried cachapas, tequeños and Galac chocolate. Reason I'm giving a 4-star rating is for their restroom, which was not clean.
If you're in love with sauces then this spot is arepa heaven. Pick a traditional or house special, you can't do wrong. It's not the classiest joint but that's not what you came here for. The staff was super friendly!
