Stewart Manor Country Club

Came for a late October wedding and absolutely adored the whole event. Although it may seem a little on the smaller side, especially given the notorious outrageous size of LI weddings these days, it uses its space to the fullest. All the decor is beautiful and when you have good weather the outdoor area is fantastic. Cocktail hour food was good, but dinner was really where the food shined, maybe the best wedding dinner I've had to date. Staff was attentive and very friendly. If I was getting married anytime soon, I'd certainly put this place up as a strong contender.

I had my wedding at Stewart Manor Country club and I cannot recommend it enough! The staff went above and beyond to make our day perfect! They were so attentive and helpful not only the day of but also the weeks leading up to the wedding. All the staff are incredibly friendly they truly make you feel like family. And not to mention the food is AMAZING!!! They make you feel like your day is equally important to them as it is to you! I cannot thank them enough for making my wedding day better than I ever could have imagined!!!

I can’t send enough praise to Stewart Manor Country Club. The entire staff is incredibly personable, hard working, and absolutely excellent to work with. From the minute we walked through the doors at Stewart Manor to view the venue we were blown away at how great the staff was. The previous reviews are not exaggerating one bit. The staff really does treat you like family. John and Lisa helped us SO much with all of our questions and planning leading up to the big day and James is THE MAN. We told him our vision for the big day and he executed it with unmatched precision. He is so detail oriented, organized, and takes charge to make sure everything is just as you dreamt it to be. The bartenders and wait staff were incredible as well. No one went without a drink in their hand and our personal waitress made sure we were always cared for and got what we needed throughout the night.

The venue is absolutely gorgeous. Just take a look at the flowers in the front and how amazing the ballroom is all done up.

James, John, Lisa, and the staff at Stewart Manor made ALL of our wedding dreams come true!! From the second we saw the venue, we knew that it was the one. There are only a few ways to describe perfection. When it comes to event planning, hosting, and execution - Stewart Manor Country Club is the very definition of perfection. From the top down the venue and its staff are polite, professional, and always a step ahead. Achieving exceptional results at the highest level takes a mastery of your craft, decades of experience, and a genuine empathy for all parties involved. John & James at SMCC displayed their superhuman compassion to defy our mere mortal expectations. Our wedding was one of the best days of our lives, and it could not have been pulled off with such ease without the help of everyone at Stewart Manor.

My wife and I had read rave reviews about the venue before booking and they still managed to deliver above and beyond anything we could have ever dreamed. Booking a venue for a wedding or special event can be tedious. However, once you meet with the folks at Stewart Manor Country Club, you will not have to look any further. We cannot thank them enough and appreciate that we weren't treated like just another number. We felt like royalty and you should too.

We held a wedding reception for our daughter's wedding on March 10, 2023.
The staff was excellent and catered to our every need. James, the maitre d' is the absolute best. Details, details, details, he's spot on and put together splendid floral arrangements for the cake, lobby and mirrors. John and Lisa really worked with our budget and didn't hit us with ridiculous extra fees like many other establishments we interviewed. Our guests were delighted. We also asked for a Jamaican theme as one of our custom serving stations. It was no problem for the head chef. The oxtail, rice & peas, plantains and jerk chicken was superb. The filet mignon was excellent, as well as the Asian station

Stewart Manor Country Club (SMCC for short), is THE venue to book for any event. My wife and I held our wedding reception here on 11/5/22, and to say that the night was perfect is a complete understatement.

The Venue:
SMCC is an absolutely stunning venue. The renovations that were done a few years ago have completely transformed the place. The venue has a modern/rustic, yet elegant feel, with a beautiful main dining/dancing area. Outside you'll find a grand driveway, which leads to the main entrance. During the summer there will be various flowers lining the property, and during the fall there will be mums. The trees on the property with the yellow-reddish leaves during the fall really make you feel like you're in a wonderland, and in the summer they offer some much needed shade for the outside area.

The Food:
Everything from cocktail hour to the actual dinner selection was perfect. You know the food is great when you have guests consistently coming up to you throughout the night to tell you so. Additionally, the SMCC team were able to accommodate a few of our guests who ate only Kosher, or had specific dietary considerations. When booking the venue, you're given an extensive list of choices to consider, and have the flexibility to add or takeaway things as you see fit. We added an additional table to cocktail hour featuring a cold bar with shrimp, clams, and lobster, and during dessert we had a table setup with various pastries and fruit.

The Team:
John, Lisa, James, and the rest of the SMCC team are AMAZING. I cannot possibly express it in just words, but I'll do my best to capture how great they all are. John was the kindest, most understanding and hilarious person to work with. He gave us his honest suggestions throughout the entire booking process, and helped us make a lot of really important decisions regarding food options and a potential afterparty. Lisa was a great resource when we had one off questions, always available via phone or email, and was present during the actual wedding to make sure things were in order. The rest of the staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire wedding day, and I even recall my groomsmen making friends with one of the waiters. Everyone was truly delightful, and on point day of.

I'd like to spotlight James specifically for his role as maître d, his attention to detail, and his help in coordinating our perfect day. From literally bringing us water onto the dancefloor while we're navigating through our guests because "we looked like we needed it", to helping set-up all of our decorations, he couldn't of possibly been more on top of it. He even helped my wife take her veil off and bustle her dress. He ensured that all of our details were sorted, that no one had any issues, and that the party kept going on. We truly cannot thank him enough for all of his help.

Overall:
We can't possibly think of a single thing that went wrong throughout the entire reception. If after reading my review you have any doubts, just look at the pictures and recognize our genuine pure happiness. This is the venue to book, and your experience throughout the entire process will be so seamless, and you won't have to worry about a thing.

We went to the Stewart Manor Country Club as our first wedding venue visit. Once we met John and James, we knew that this was the place we wanted to have our wedding. They both went above and beyond to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams. Their attention to every little detail made us and our guests thrilled. Everyone said that you could feel our love!

They also recommended a cigar roller and a dessert fire truck which completely blew our guests away. Fire Engine Foods supplied our guests with cinnamon buns, churros, deep fried Oreos, cookies, popcorn, and our FAVORITE apple cider donuts. This ending to our wedding was the icing on the cake.
