Colleen Topping (in hoodie) was caught tearing down a flyer advertising a Montclair, N.J. vigil for the civilians kidnapped by Hamas. Her profile lists that she works at this art museum

Always has a diverse range of exhibitions and permanent artwork. We’ve been members for many years and have always encountered kind staff and volunteers during our visits.

Quaint and quiet local art museum. 2 of the galleries were under renovation but looked promising. The exterior garden is so beautiful! Free for a few more days if you were ever curious !

Never coming here again ! The woman at the front desk was extremely rude and irritating to say the very least. This museum participates in the museums4all program. When I called last weekend in advance to see how many people can come in free with the families first card l, the gentleman on the phone said up to 4 people per card. My family consists of 4 people so we decided to go. When we got there the woman insisted there was no such thing and gave the the passes as a “favor” . She was extremely belittling and isn’t knowledgeable enough to be sitting at the front desk. Also, when my two children and I walked to the bathroom located by the entrance she insisted we go downstairs. Why would I when I have a 3 year old who needs to go now ? She made us feel like we didn’t belong and it was just a very uncomfortable experience. The museum is also very small and doesn’t have much to offer.

First Thursday music event was a lot of fun. Food truck, music and cocktails. You can get a free tour with a docent. Check what art classes are available. You can register in advance

The Vanessa German Exhibition is beautiful and interesting. Lovely museum, clean and has free parking. Looking forward to visiting again.

They had a funeral or memorial on the first floor, it was so loud. Definitely did not expect that.

Quite a nice art museum. I particularly enjoyed the display about an artist who painted the images in storybooks. Really quite powerful.
