Nice selection of restaurants along the boardwalk, short walk to the Botanic Gardens up old stone staircase and not far of a walk to Kings Cross.

A beautiful place for walking at day and night time. A lot of restaurants around the areas to enjoy dinner. You have to make reservations for fine dining. There are many pups around the area for casual dining as well.

This is a great venue with plenty of history to be absorbed.
I’ve attended a work function or two here and the place is set up brilliantly.
Restaurants are top notch for a corporate gig & the external views of the harbour , ships & Potts Point are nothing short of excellent.
Great to see this wharf house and many others in Sydney have been preserved outstandingly.

The historic wharf has been preserved and converted into a hotel and eating precinct, with many top options for fine dining.
The wharf houses both the Ovolo Hotel and residences. There are sculptures along the boardwalk as well as inside the wharf that are accessible to the public. The historic features have been preserved and the wharf’s history is on display and also explained via images and text through. Lovely space

Historical site…thankful to those who had fought hard to keep this wooden jetty building to be appreciated by generations to come. Now a posh area with fine dining and chic accommodation not for average people, you can still catch a cup of coffee to go to sit at the jetty enjoying the beautiful sunset and a good companion without the price tag….

Great place for fine food and wine, we enjoyed a delicious seafood lunch at one the fine restaurants on the wharf, after strolling from Sydney Opera House. It is an inspiring walkway, easy on the legs, with many vantage spots to take Instagram photos of the Sailing on Sydney harbour, the public green space with colonial history of Australia such as Mrs Macquarie’s chair lookout Roy Charlton swimming pool, botanical gardens all accessible from Finger Wharf, which has history too, saved from demolition. Many fine Boats, yachts and sculptures are close by which adds for an interesting afternoon in Woolloomooloo Sydney. Highly recommended

Cleanliness; Entry ( via ovolo hotel). The reception area was very clean and there are lots of fairy lights and the reception looked quite magical upon entry. In fact the building ( inside and out) as well as area leading to the apartments at the back of the hotel were all very clean.

Friendliness; when I came in via the reception area, the front desk receptionist for Ovolo were all smiling, very convivial and friendly. I made enquiries as to costs and the Checkin staff gave a good description of the cost of rooms and the inclusions, parking, and the reasons why ovolo is the place to stay when you are residing in Woolloomooloo.👌🏽

Covid 19 protocols; unfortunately none of the staff were wearing masks there were no signs indicating 1.5 m distancing or any signage to provide information regarding covid-19 at the front desk ( ovolo reception ). Covid-19 is very important and all businesses must display adequate signage easy for the public to see. This is the main reason I voted the reception area of the Finger Wharf of the ovolo hotel a 3 out of 5.

Facilities; Excellent location and close to the botanic gardens and a 15/ 25 minute stroll to the opera house. Finger Wharf restaurants and cafes on your doorstep. Very good location and safe and close to public transport.

Overall; I rate the Finger Wharf a good location, didn't look at the rooms or eat at the restaurants on this occasion. May come back and review the Ovolo rooms and Fingerwharf restaurants at a later date.
