Unbelievable amount of mosquitoes. Otherwise pleasant as always.
Really nice viewing deck with ample seating, sunshade and a nice bathroom nearby. You can hear the air traffic comms if you turn the dial timer by the front rail.
But the planes are too small and too far away as they take off and land - not much of an impressive view in my opinion. Overall it was a nice way to spend 30 mins, but I wouldn't be in a rush to come back.

Fun place, especially when planes are landing out of southwest. If you enjoy watching planes takeoff and land, this is good place for you.
Perfect place to spend a couple of hours planespotting. Playground for the kids and restrooms. You can also listen in on the tower communications which is cool. There is a sunshade over most of the seating area in case you want to get out of the sun.
Amazing place to come relax and watch the planes go off. Bring by my 2 year old here all the time he loves it. Very clean bathrooms and seating areas immaculate too!
Great spot to catch the planes coming in! Love that you can hear the radio tower while you watch as well! Strongly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! The private jets land like every 5-15mins!
Great location to watch planes. APF is a fairly busy airport with a good mix of General Aviation and Business Jet traffic. The elevated platform is well maintained and shaded. The site also has restrooms with plumbing and a water fountain, a small play area, as well as some workout equipment. Definitely would come back again.
On a sunny day it's a fun thing to do they even play the tower radio so you can hear the discussion between pilots and airport.
