Boy, have I been taught a lesson in judging a book by its cover. The exterior is certainly easy to miss, but you don't want to be missing out on the tikka chicken, nor their naan which is some of the best I've had ever. The chicken is bursting with juices and flavour, marinated with a complex mix of spices and a slight creamy tanginess from the yogurt, finished off with a squeeze of lemon for a perfect balance of flavours inside your mouth. Completing this iconic duo is an unbelievably soft and fluffy naan that is evidently freshly baked to order, brushed with a finishing of ghee for a subtle yet indulgent fragrance.

The place looks very basic - we almost changed our minds, but are glad we didn’t. The food was delicious. Our three and five year olds polished off the butter chicken, devoured the naan and ate every bit of pappadum. The service was friendly and helpful, and the price was incredible for what we got. The place was busy so it’s clear everyone knows it’s good. We will be back!

The restaurant is very famous in the vicinity, it’s a bit hard to park the car. The food here tastes good, it has got large area to sit and chill out.

This place gave a literal Indian Vibe! A lot needed for someone who's been staying here in Canada for a long time. The ambience, the streets simply have resemblance to the Indian streets (specifically Abids, Hyderabad or perhaps Park Street, Kolkata).

Food was amazing and scrumptious! We had mutton sheekh kebab, fried fish, mutton and chicken biryani. All items were decent and great.

It has also the much celebrated Hyderabadi dessert; "Double Ka Meetha", although I didn't try it because I was already full until the main course. But, I'm sure it's great as it is being made by a Hyderabadi Chef (old aged uncle hailing from Malakpet, a really decent and hospitable man) and in addition to that the appearance was appealing.

We randomly get into this halal restaurant. The environment isn’t that fancy but i have to admit the food is really good. We ordered a meat thali, Bihari kebab and haleem along with mango milkshake. Every items were good in terms of taste and freshly cooked. We really enjoyed their food. They have a prayer space in their basement and also washroom available.

Best place for South Indian style biryanis, prices are very economical and it’s a self service restaurant. Really good find for biryani in Toronto. Dining area is not maintained properly. Best for take away. Really hard to find parking next to restaurant.

Loved their Hyderabadi Chicken & Lamb Biryani! Tasted just like back home and super reasonable price at 10$ for chicken, 15$ for Lamb. Tried their Haleem as well, was good.

The staff was super friendly as well.

The OG. There's no competition. This place is legit. Getting their naan kabob is a must. Biryani was especially delicious, especially considering this time we walked In pretty late and I was expecting something reheated....but nope it was fresh. Same owners for the last 25+ years and the quality is the same as it was in the 90s. Very affordable prices too, so make sure to always tip well!

Great food with very reasonable prices. I have visited this restaurant quite a few times and was never disappointed. Their biryani aroma brings back the nostalgic memories of classic Hyderabad old city style restaurants. Beside the great taste, loved the hospitality and quick service. Would love to see little more effort in maintaining the cleanliness n hygiene

Very tasty Hyderabad Chicken Dum Biryani..😋😋😋

If you are looking for a Hyderabad old city style chicken dum biryani near downtown area , this is the best place to go..

We have ordered lamb Haleem, chicken dum biryani and kabab all were very delicious and affordable too.

This place is popular for mutton biryani and we didn’t get it because it will be available on Fri, Sat and Sundays only.

Happy eating ….
