Rub the horn as you walk by and you'll have good luck when trading corn futures!

Amazing spot for brunch with the kids. Tasting notes include pennies and decades of people rubbing the statue with unwashed hands. Poor service but makes up for it with the view.

This bronze bull is a memorial to a community-based public art event in 1999 featuring a herd of fibreglass cows. Seems the bull was erected here in 2001 according to the small plaque on the ground near the bull.

It's a bull, not a cow, but it is bronze and in Chicago, so it mostly lives up to its name. It's fun for the whole family or your friends and it's there to be touched and photographed. It's a high quality work of street art.

This piece of Chicago sculpture is both iconic Chicago for 2 reasons 1) it’s a memory of the late 90s/Early 2000s public art display of the “Cows on Parade“ instillations across the city. 2) For my job, I stand on this bus corner for hours everyday, so many people stop to take a photo with this cow or jump on top of it. If you do visit! Please use hand sanitizer before and after! 😁 🐄

Theoretically, and I stress this, the great fire of Chicago was started by a cow kicking a lantern in a barn.
For decades this was the "official" story but nowadays it's found not so solid as before and more like a myth.
In order to forgive the cow, this statue was built after it
