Small patch of flowers near the water side. It's cute little place and a good place for a picnic
The tulips are beautiful when they're at peak bloom here! It's a great spot for children's portraits if you're visiting the tidal basin or the national mall around springtime.
I thought it would be larger. It was a beautiful tiny garden area. I would have taken more pictures, but so many of the small tulip beds had trash it in - which might be new since it was windy Friday & Saturday - visited this spot on Sunday, while the Cherry Blossom Run was taking place.
Beautiful display of flowers we accidentally came across on our way to the Tidal Basin for the cherry blossoms!
Although they were not wide spread in area, covered pretty much all colors of tulips.
A great view of cherry blossom and hint of tulips growing in the library gardens. It also gives you a view of the white house and the lake right next to it, so if you're planning to go for che e ry blossom next time, you should visit this area.
