A large 40 acre sprawling hiking trail located next to Petrides HS. Part of the Greenbelt Blue trail that winds up on Ocean Terrace. Along the way you will see tons of Oak trees scattered throughout the area . There are several steep hills& valleys leading to great views of the Freedom Tower and the SI Expressway. Bee on the lookout for a Honeybee hive . Several white tail deer scamper below. If you are looking to find quiet time — this is the place .
Enjoyed with friends in this lovely place. Went for a short walk and had a very pleasant rest.
I’m sorry, but this park was not that great of an experience. They need to mark the trail better.
One of the island great parks to hike and get in touch with nature scenic area to watch deers and other wildlife run around just get your big spray because when it gets warms they come out to feast and love to nibble around the neck areas
Most of the Dunkin places are always good service is always pleasurable I only like Dunkin Donuts products I love the coffee I only drink Dunkin coffee my family gets mad because I bring coffee with me to there homes I bring enough for all
This is a nice little place to take a walk in the middle of todt hill. During the winter the scenery is beautiful. If it just recently snowed, the woods look like something out of a postcard. Great place to take holiday photos
Really nice trail and if you want to see the high that nearly gutted Staten Island, the Richmond highway, take this trail. When you make it to open area where the high was going to start, there are great views of world trade center 1 aka the freedom tower. Plus great views of the island as well.
Hidden treasure in NYC. Try to find Skull tree. Great single track hiking trails. You feel like you are in the country. Connects with additional trails for hours of hiking. Maintained by Protectors of the pine oaks.
