Beautiful piece of Matawan history, well maintained, the tours on Sunday are fun and the views of Matawan creek from the backyard are breathtaking!
Beautiful 18th century mansion in Matawan with significant history related to the revolutionary war. The property also included slave quarters, shining a light on the mostly untold history of slavery in the Northern states. In fact, New Jersey was the last Northern state to abolish slavery when Governor Ward signed a constitutional amendment on January 23, 1866.
Very "active"place. If you think youre alone here....please know youre not.Ive been an investigator for many years now. Even have a youtube channel"Paranormal Awesomeness"you mayve or may not have heard of...but anyway Ive looked around and visited and I'll tell ya...the findings were mindblowing.
