Awesome place for events and concerts. They have a super cool rocket atmosphere and the open space makes it great to mingle, dance, or watch a show. I love that the stage isn't too high so there is a very intimate atmosphere and connection with the bands.
The bad: They only accept cash and the mixed drinks (€7 each) are super weak. There was also no coat check during the concert.

The space is unique and comfortable. I went to play a concert. The organizer was very kind and hospitable. The sound person was also very kind. The bartender too. They had some technical difficulties with sound and lights pre show. But they worked hard to resolve it. The show looked and sounded great. Thank you for a good time.
Thanks to this club, I've started liking to go party! Alternative music of all likes, from 80's 90's grunge indie pop punk metal metalcore electronicore, there is really everything for everyone. People are chill, the entrance prices are okay, there is a Garderobe, clean toilets, sofas. I think that everyone enjoying the night life in Bochum, should spend a night in die Trompete at least once
If you're looking for a well run alternative club this is the place for you!

Just some great Rock'n'Roll in a dirty hole, like it fkn has to be. A little bit like old CBGB's in NYC, but just a little. ;) Get it on...
Basement live venue with decent prices and OK parties. If the program of the evening is your thing, it's definitely worth a go, not much of an attraction in itself.
