Another amazing day to hike to the tower.

Beautiful trail but whoever put that antenna on top of the mountain should be imprisoned

Great hike! Great view

The trail starts off pretty easy. The last half mile is probably the toughest and steepest. Beautiful views at the top, you'll have great cell reception. Our small dog did just fine, but I would not recommend it for smaller children unless you want to carry them some. The trail is well maintained with only a few muddy spots after the rain. There's plenty of parking. Don't be fooled by the first parking area though, you'll want to keep driving till you get to the second parking area.

Not a bad short stroll in the woods. The last mile is somewhat steep. The view from the summit is pretty awesome. I only wish the communication tower wasn't up there, and the brush was trimmed down for a better view. If you have never been to the summit, it's worth hiking up. Happy trails!!

Nice hike up to Mount Pisgah. The trail is short (only about 1.3 each way) but steep and rocky. The trail gradually climbs for the first 0.5 miles and then gets steep as you climb up to the summit. There are hundreds of rock steps to climb but you'll eventually reach the deck at the top. The view was a bit overgrown when I was there but the views are still great (even with the tower).

Along the Blu Ridge Parkway at nc hwy 151 sits the beautiful Mt. Pisgah. There are trails at the top and the bottom a hotel nearby on the blu ridge with an excellent restaurant I recommend highly that one spends a night at the hotel a day hiking the trails and an evening watching the sunset while eating at the restaurant.

Short but fun. This is a trail where you need to pay attention because of rocks, etc., but you get out of it what you put into it.

If you want a nice groomed trail to just stroll along, this is not your trail.
