I have came to your church service a few times for Sunday Service and really enjoy my self .Your pastor can preach .His sermon touched my soul.

The minister is a great preacher. The congregation is relatively small but minister is trying hard to grow. With today's younger folks it would probably help if they could get a better choir so that they can "dance" in the pews. Some of the older members are still snobbish and the younger ones are in a rush.

This is one of the oldest and most respected churches in the area. I had a beautiful spiritual experience during the New Year Eve service. Although, I am a member of a neighboring sister church, I have several friends whom attend this church.

Attended watch night service along with Zion Baptist church. Service was filled with spirit, preaching was right on targrt to get us started in the new year. I was happy to be in a historic place while bringing in a new year.

My mother has the pleasure of attending this church she over not upon returning back home. I like to say thank you for goodness for Lord blessing this ministry of God to serve the peoples. Nineteenth Street Baptist Church is a very special center of worship! I have truly enjoyed worshipping and singing unto the Lord!

I was baptized in 194 by Rev. Jerry Moore. I have been a life member. I serve as Deaconess and Vacation Bible School Teacher. I have served as Assistant Church Clerk (10yrs.), Usher (5 yrs.), Breast Cancer Month speaker (4 yrs.). I enjoy our Pastors way of presenting The Word. The atmosphere at Nineteenth Street is of family and love of each other. The children and teens' active participation of my church is phenomenal. Ushers show a feeling if genuine warmth as anyone enters the church and sanctuary. I have heard these comments over the years as church clerk and serving as an usher. As a deaconess at Nineteenth Street, i have many obligations. My most rewarding is serving our shut in and sick members; offering them a work of prayer and the communion sacrement. They are so happy to talk with the members of the team as after prayers, we talk with them about their healing and give updates on what's happening at church. My affiliation with this wonderful church gives me peace and understanding of God's role in my life.
