Wish I came here at the start of my South American trip - the nature makes so much more sense now! (Also with the signs in children level Spanish it’s a great way to learn the language!)
Very small but nice walking around. The show pieces are not many but enough. Worth a stop. Free of charge.
A great museum for free admission! I loved walking through each region of Chile and seeing the varying ecosystems and history each region had. It is a great place to bring kids to and it is located inside a beautiful park place with other surrounding museums and right outside a metro station.
This free museum is worth it if you understand Spanish. Nonetheless, there are some things worth checking out even if you do not such as the massive whale bones. This museum is free. The grounds and pond outside are beautiful too.
Very informative museum. Nice displays of the biological and geological zones in Chile. It's a shame that there are not more English translations but the pictorial explanations and videos are very easy to follow for non Spanish speakers. Seeing that the museum is free to visit, it is already amazing to get this much information so wonderfully presented. Our kids learned a lot and are now looking even more forward to see the southern zones of Chile!
A nice, free museum in the park. Lots of natural history exhibits (mostly models and pictures with historical explanation). Only a few exhibits have English included displays.
Came here with my friend from Brazil and it's a nice break from walking in the park. Give yourself about an hour to 90 minutes to enjoy the full display.
There's also an outdoor railroad museum (mostly for kids) not too far to the south west of this museum, still in the park. It's CLP 1.500 for admission 🎫

The admission is free so there’s no need to buy tickets. Pretty fun to see all these stuffed animals and its also interesting to get more to know about Chilean nature. Everything is in Spanish, no english at all.
Entry is free. The exhibits are all labeled and explained in Spanish and there was no clear English guide I could see. Pretty building, but uninspiring displays. The main hall was a little better with a giant website skeleton. Little to nothing on dinosaurs, mostly modern mammals. Second floor has been close since 2000 due to an earthquake.
