The original Statue of Liberty is placed on a nice island off the coast of New York. This smaller version is in the middle of a parking lot. It's not the most impressive.
An excellent place for the family to explore history without the boat ride.
No frills version for those who have a fear of heights, no staircase to ascend,no traveling of the Hudson River ways for those with a fear of water. No walking all over the place for those with a fear of exercise!
And the #1 reason to visit... no fear of emptying your wallet for those having a fear of going Broke!!

A replica from 1900 in a parking lot. It stands over 30 ft tall. It dates to 1900 - 14 years after the real Statue of Liberty was dedicated.
