Republica Café is one of my favorite places to study! The staff is lovely and the prices are decent. I would recommend ordering the chocolate muffin, but the other desserts are delicious too. The location is perfect for a coffee after exploring the Old Town Square. Another tip - During Christmas, they have adorable cards!

Was happy to find this calm little place in the otherwise quite busy and tourist-dense area.
Could enjoy coffee and a salmon croissant in peace here while charging my devices.

There are power sockets near some of the seats, free wifi but no guest WC.

Small, quiet and cozy coffee shop. Great tasty coffee selection. They also offer cocktails, wine and beer. It's really quiet here, great for working. A bunch of cozy sitting options but nothing for bigger groups. The interior is well designed and add to the coziness of the coffee shop. There's a bathroom and free wifi. If I lived in Prague, I would probably come here a lot.

Lovely, relaxed and quaint coffee spot hidden in the Old Town. Staff super friendly, I enjoyed a cold brew coffee and a goat cheese croissant which exceeded my expectations. Easy going atmosphere. Would definitely visit again!

Not nice coffee. I came as I saw photos of nice latte art on google reviews but it was big disappointment. That's how the coffee looked like this morning

The place is fine but the drinks are nothing special . A bit of sparkling water and syrup ... Less than 5 sec preparation.
There is also restroom in the place

This is not the typical every day coffee place. It’s not a meet up point, not a place to catch up with your friends. Even though the coffee and sweets weren’t anything special, I’d never been in a coffee place that gave me such relaxing vibes. The moment I went into it, my whole body calmed down. Relaxing music, quiet place, people journaling or just chilling, this is what you get. And for a grey Sunday with low energy, this may be exactly what you need. Perfect place to come to work (if you don’t have virtual meetings). Don’t interrupt the vibe, join it.

We should have brought our money somewhere else

I rarely give a negative review but I definitely did not have a great experience with this coffeehouse. We tried it here since it has a 4.6 rating, but was left disappointed and left me wondering where the 4.6 stars are coming from.

Cons:
-Rude staff. This definitely threw me off since we had all pleasant experiences in the restaurants/cafes we visited in Prague aside from this one. No greetings/pleasantries when we came inside (a simple good morning would be appreciated since the cafe was empty when we arrived). When I asked if what’s their Mocha made of, staff sarcastically answered “It’s half coffee and half chocolate that’s why it’s called mocha.” I asked since mocha in Vienna also means one shot or double shot of coffee. I then gave our orders, and when I added some orders, staff told me “Order at once and pay at once” in a reprimanding tone. Worst part was their second customer (which was standing behind me) heard it. It then gave an awkward atmosphere. Considering the HUGE competition of coffee culture in Prague, they should train their staff more.
-Coffee served was half cold. How can you enjoy your coffee on a winter day?

Pros:
-near city center
-fast Wi-Fi

The experience left a bitter taste. I would sure come back in Prague but never again in this coffeehouse.
