I ordered a very simple dish, a green salad, and you won’t believe what I found inside the bowl. There was a live snail slugging around! Awful service. All they did was apologize and they didn’t even replace my dish. The waiter said, and I quote “there are a lot of snails in the lettuce when we are washing it so it happens.” I highly recommended staying away from this restaurant as they do not care about their customers and do not pay attention when preparing meals.
Das Lokal ist gerade um die Mittagszeit sehr beliebt. Man findet hier auch viele Einheimische, was per se ein gutes Zeichen ist. Die Spezialität hier sind die Hähnchen, deswegen komme ich auch regelmäßig hier her. Mein Favorit sind die Hähnchen mit Knoblauch-Öl, die sind einfach super lecker. Die Pommes dazu sind ebenfalls gut. Ein Gläschen Vinho Verde rundet den Genuss zur Mittagszeit ab. Der Service ist freundlich, professionell und aufmerksam. Das Essen wird rasch serviert. Die Herzlichkeit bleibt dabei etwas auf der Strecke, das sollte man aber keinesfalls persönlich nehmen. Tip: Geht man auf dem Bürgersteig am Eingang vorbei, kann man, auf den Holzkohle-Grill schauen, über dem sich die Hähnchen drehen.
Famous for its chicken with fries. You can also substitute the fries for salad. Cant to both sides together. We also got the shredded cod fish which was delicious.
Thanks to a break down I had a short stay in Cascais. Luckely the "Jardím dos Frangos" - Chicken garden- was close by our hotel. I went there 3 times for dinner. Doesn't matter if Chicken, spaghetti or salmón.... Everything is fresh and tasty. Soups, vegs, rice or boiled potatoes are perfect. The service is very professional, polite and attentive!!!!!

Love the traditional piri piri chicken so much! The flan cake also an extreme pleasure!! I think its the only reason i went to this city so far! Will be back for this for sure!
Auf Empfehlung unseres Reiseführers sind wir dort zum Mittag eingekehrt. Gute portugiesische Küche mit frischen Fisch und guten Fleisch bzw. Geflügel. Foto von der Vorspeise ( Oktopus Salat). Da das Restaurant gut besucht ist, muss man auch mit Wartezeit rechnen. Service ist nett und flink.
