We had our baby with us, so we didn't actually hike down to the beaches, but the viewpoint was absolutely breathtaking! It gets pretty windy out there, so I'd recommend bringing a jacket.
Such a cool viewpoint. Some of the best scenery this country has to offer.
Fun uphill hiking trail lots of nature to see. And a few lookouts as you're going to the top being able to see out towards the ocean and also tillamook rock lighthouse
This is an spectacular place to visit, the forest is stoning and the views over the pacific ocean will something to remembering for ever.
Easy access for views and the sounds of the rocks tumbling into the sea is incredible! Be prepared for walking on stones The beach is not sand it is made up of rock so tough footing.
Hiked up from Indian Beach parking area toward Ecola Point. The trail is mostly well maintained but is worn with winter rains and storm debri but still passable. The view of the ocean and the magnificent trees are both incredible and breathtaking.
Moderate difficulty hike with spectacular views! Just the perfect combination of mountains, beach and river streams. You can start the hike from Ecola point (this location) and end at Indian beach or vice versa, based on wherever you get parking.
Great trail. Parking was a bit of a chore due to how popular this location is. The sign at the entry said "full", but we got lucky once we made it to the parking lot a spot freed up. Police was ticketing cars who did not pay for a pass. Its only 4or5 dollars to park so just get a pass.
Great views even through the thick fog. Torwards the beach where the danger sign is it looks like the trail was eroded or something. You can still hike down, just use caution. I was looking for another trail so I did not hike all the way down to this beach. I wouldn't suggest bringing any very small children.
