A most historical and popular church for social gatherings
Great mass. Easy walk from the Cruise Piers. The priest and congregation welcomed visitors.
Beautiful catholic cathedral devoted to the Lady of Lourdes. Big enough to seat at least 600 comfortably. Sundays morning holy mass is celebrated at 9 a.m. The choir is good in their Caribbean drums, just amazing.
My cousin and I attended Ash Wednesday mass. It was packed, everyone was welcoming, the music was FANTASTIC. The windows were open allowing you to feel the breeze and hear the crickets.
Great choir. Very welcoming congregation. Priest's sermon was worth listening to. Caution: the sound system is strong, but the walls and ceiling are very live ... result: echo/reverb can make it hard to follow words.
